Our Mission is to raise funds to sponsor cutting-edge neuroscience research on addiction and high school scholarship for kids, who persevered and graduated in spite of struggle with personal issues or illness.
Chris Wivholm Foundation is helping to ensure that fewer individuals will lose their fight with addiction. We are raising money for a great cause to support University of Minnesota Medical Discovery Team—Strategy to Develop New Therapies for Opioid-Use Disorder.
As a result of our dinner, silent auction and fundraising events in May we were able to donate $7,000 to University of Minnesota Neuroscience Debarment - Medical Discovery Team. Thank you so much to our supporters! We are saving lives by contributing to research. This new collaborative research program, led by University of Minnesota Neuroscience Discovery Team on Addiction, examines how addictive drugs alter the brain and how these changes can lead to compulsive drug use.
You are invited to participate in our Pampered Chef Fundraiser by placing on order through Thursday June 6th to benefit the Chris Wivholm Foundation – Funding Research and Support for the Disease of Addiction.
Mark the date! If you eat at Red’s Savoy Pizza on the 30th of every month and mention Chris Wivholm Foundation 20% of what you spend will be donated to the Foundation and it’s noble cause.
We are excited to let you know that the foundation will receive an $800 donation for our fundraiser event. The donation resulted from a cash donation from The Pampered Chef company and Julie Dent, our Independent Kitchen Consultant, who presented the demonstration and assisted with the fundraiser event.
We had our first event on January 19 and it was a big success thanks to all of you! Thank you for your support of Chris Wivholm Foundation and it’s mission! We raised over $3,000, and will me donating it to University of Minnesota Neuroscience Research tomorrow.
