Our Mission is to raise funds for cutting-edge neuroscience research on addiction, harm reduction initiatives in the community, and high school scholarship for kids, who persevered and graduated in spite of struggle with personal issues or illness.
The Chris Wivholm Foundation is helping to ensure that fewer individuals lose their fight with addiction. We are raising money for a great cause. The funds are used to support University of Minnesota Medical Discovery Team—Strategy to Develop New Therapies for Opioid-Use Disorder.

Thank you to all, who joined us at our breakfast event on January 25. It turned out to be a wonderful gathering, where participants were connected with each other in meaningful ways. As a result of our dinner, silent auction and fundraising events in May we were able to donate $7,000 to University of Minnesota Neuroscience Department Medical Discovery Team on Addiction. This was possible because of the donations received from our dinner and silent auction and fundraising events. The Medical Discovery Team on Addiction examines how addictive drugs alter the brain and how these changes can lead to compulsive drug use.
We had our first fundraising breakfast event on January 19, and it was a big success thanks to all of you! Thank you for your support of The Chris Wivholm Foundation and it’s mission!
